Submission

To apply, there are two documents required:

  1. A script – a completed screenplay is not needed if you are applying for a documentary or if your film is already in production. Here are acceptable deliverables:
  • Treatment
  • PDF with links to footage
  • A proposal which showcases the project’s potential

  1. A cover letter – a letter that expresses your vision for your project. Your goal is to help the judges envision your creative masterpiece into a potential film. You should also mention in your letter if production has begun and how the funding will be utilized. We recommend at least 1-2 pages.

Optional – You can include a PDF document that includes any other information regarding your project. Please include anything that will help our judges understand both the creators and the project.

Application Guide Line

Annual application periods for the funding cycle open on: February, 1st and June, 30th. Only digital applications are accepted.

Follow up edits will be declined once material has been sent. Please proofread your script very carefully before submitting. Contact information may be included on the cover page of the screenplay.

Material should be submitted in the standard screenplay format, font, space and margin. There are no preferences for the title page content. The title and the name of the writer should suffice.

Screenplays must be owned and submitted by the writer or owner. Adaptations are ineligible unless the underlying rights are owned by the writer or director, or if the work is in the public domain.

All material must be submitted digitally. Screenplays must be in industry standard format and submitted as a PDF.

Documentaries will also be accepted. However, a PDF letter or presentation about the project should also be submitted. This document may include hyperlinks to video footage.
