About the Story
No Ordinary Love is
based on the novel written by director/producer Sherry Teleky Waple
in 2002. All through writing this 400 plus page novel, Sherry envisioned
certain individuals playing the different characters in hopes of
having the novel adapted into a feature-length feature film which
could then bring those visions to life on the big screen.
Jack Grant
is a well known, well liked actor living in New York with his wife
Sarah and their 11 year old son Dylan. After a late movie shoot
causes Jack to rearrange plans for his wedding anniversary dinner,
Sarah is struck and killed by a car just a few feet in front of
Jack. Jack instantly blames himself for Sarah's death. Two years
later, Jack finds himself living alone and his son living with Sarah's
parents on the West Coast. Life for Jack is at a stand still. Then,
on one rainy day in May, Jack has a chance encounter with Ashley
Parker, a school teacher. Jack is instantly smitten with Ashley
but, just moments after they meet, Ashley is injured in a car accident.
Ashley survives the accident, but for Jack it awakens his feelings
regarding the loss of Sarah. Jack immediately takes Ashley into
his care and begins a courtship based on guilt, remorse, and blame.
Ashley's lack of confidence, caused by her dominating, mean spirited,
ex-fiancé, combined with Jack's attempt to rewrite history,
creates a tumultuous, but passionate, love affair.

About the Production
Taking the first step
toward moving this project forward, Sherry Waple hired screenwriter
Stanley D. Jacobs to adapt her novel into screenplay. Within a few
months time, Stan delivered to Sherry a very pleasing first draft.
Shortly thereafter, a second draft brings the project to the stage
of pre-production casting. Now comes the time for the company to
acquire those individuals producer Waple believes are the perfect
for each role.

Currently,
the script is being reviewed by one of Hollywood’s top ladies,
as well as a prominent male actor and producer Waple is optimistic
they will acquire the services of both.
