SHERRY TELEKY WAPLE -
Sherry Teleky Waple - Sherry Teleky Waple is the sole
proprietor of the Independent Film Company Golden Horse Production
which was established in 2000. Sherry attended Hollywood Film
Institute, New York, 2000 and received a Certificate of Completion
as a certified Cinema Director, Line Producer, and a Producer's
Diploma as a Feature Film Producer. She also attended Filmmaker's
Central School of Cinema, Los Angeles, 2002 and received a
Masters in the Arts and Sciences of Digital Cinema. After
attending Shoot Camp, Sherry had the confidence and the knowledge
to direct and produce her first short feature film.
Sherry was born in Middletown, Pennsylvania on May 10, 1969 and from a very early age has had a love of movies.
She
currently resides in Middletown, PA with her husband Frank.
She is a legal secretary for a prestigious law firm by day,
a pharmacy technician by night and and inspiring filmmaking
in all her spare time. Some of her other hobbies include reading,
writing, walking her dog, horseback riding, training horses
and playing ice hockey. Sherry raised her own horse
Tequilla Sunrise since she was nine months old and utilized
her in Poultry and Prejudice. Tequilla is her pride and joy
at six years-old, along with her eighteen year-old Torti cat
Mickey and fourteen year- old Australian Shepherd Nikkita.
Sherry
made her directorial debut with her short film "Poultry and
Prejudice" which was filmed on location in her hometown and
primarily at her grandparent's three story home. "Poultry
and Prejudice" won the Audience Award at the 2004 Harrisburg
ArtsFest. Her most recent film, "Obsession" starring
Terence Knox, is currenlty making its way through the film
circuit.
"My
grandparents always told me that I could do anything if I
put my mind to it." That is exactly what Sherry is doing now
with the constant support of her family and friends.
Sherry's
credits include: 1987-1988 Hershey Bears Hockey Club Biography
(directed/produced/edited); Sherry Teleky Waple Autobiography
(directed/produced/edited), short film "Radio Silence" (co-directed),
short film "Obsession" (writer/producer/director), video banquet
presentations for "Blue Raiders 2004-2005" and "Blue Raiders
2005-2006" director/producer/camera operator) and "Land
Rover: A Day Off Road" (camera operator).
Sherry's
biggest piece of advice to all inspiring filmmakers: "Never
give up your dreams, no matter what they are. Believe in yourself
and you ability to make that dream come true, and it will." |

JAMES HOLLENBAUGH - James
Hollenbaugh is a full time Director of Photography and Avid
Editor for SR Productions in Lancaster Pennsylvania. There
he has worked on many local and national commerical spots,
industrial and marketing films, corporate videos, and documentaries
for agencies and televison including HGTV, CNN, The History
Channel, The Discovery Channel, and The Outdoor Channel. He
has completed many of his own fictional short films on a variety
of formats as well as documentaries, most notably a popular
featurette on the Falmouth Pennsylvania Goat Races. He also
has many feature film and feature documentary credits to his
belt in the camera / lighting department, as well as AD credits
on Doris Wishman's final feature film "Each Time I Kill"
and the first Joseph W. Sarno film in twenty years, "Lust
For Laura", to be released later this year through Ei
Cinema. Jim is also an accomplished still photographer as
well as a film historian in regards to the sexploitation films
of the 60's / 70's, with an extraordinary focus on the films
and work of Zebedy Colt.

JOHN J. PECCHIO writes books about prison life and our justice system. He proudly presents his first book:
“Hell Behind Prison Walls”

John J. Pecchio was born in Elmira, New York on May of 1938. He attended Hendy Avenue grade school and then went on to graduate from the Elmira Free Academy in 1956. John was an outstanding baseball player at Elmira Free Academy, and after graduation he was invited to train with the Brooklyn Dodger baseball team in Vero Beach, Florida. He was read y to sign a professional baseball contract with the Brooklyn Dodger club when his brother Anthony, who lived in Florida at the time, took ill, and John was forced to give up his baseball career to care for his brother until he died three month later.
John returned back to Elmira after the death of his brother, where his best friend Basil, introduced him to his father Jimmy Stepanian. John stayed with Mr. Stepanian three years learning the shoemaking trade. Then he ventured out opening his own shoemaking shop in Waverly, New York. During that time he got married and had four children that are now perusing their own careers.
After 10 years of operating his shoemaking shop, he received a call from a supervisor at the Elmira Reformatory Prison, (later the name changed to Elmira Correctional Facility) wanting him to teach prisoners a vocational trade in shoemaking, shoe orthopedics and leather-crafts. John accepted the job and worked days at the prisons while attending night classes at Oswego College and earned his teaching certificate. He ended up working at the Elmira Correctional Facility as a vocational instructor for 25 years. He r etired in May of 1992 from the Elmira Correctional Facility.
After retiring, John and his wife Pamela, who retired from the Arnot Odgen Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapists moved to a small lake in Troy, Pennsylvania. That’s when John started writing his books, "Hell Behind Prison Walls," A regional best seller and “The Devil’s Den of Prison and Justice." John and Pam have four children that are now presuming their own careers. John’s hobbies are: sports, carpentry, fishing and writing. Pam enjoys fishing, gardening, and crafts and does oil painting.
John and Pam travel around the country doing book signing, and will occasionally do a presentation on prisons. His most recent presentations were at the Libertarian Club, in the Pocono’s, New York and for the criminal justice students at Elmira College, in Elmira, New York.
