DONALD
BOWERS (#23/Forward) -- Donald began playing
ice hockey as Junior without knowing how to skate
very well, but he did good his first year. Now in
his second year of playing hockey, as a Senior, he will
have a great season. He has always participated in
a sport from a very early age. He wanted to play roller
hockey at Doc's Roller Rink around age 10, but his mom was
not ready for that. In addition to ice hockey, Don
is a very active member of the marching band, concert band
and chorus. He will be playing tennis in the Spring.
After graduation, Don plans to attend college. He
has not decided where he wants to go or what to major in

ALEX CRAWFORD (#25/Defense) --
From the time he stepped foot on the puddle at age 5 and told
his parents he was so glad they let him play hockey and it
has been a thrill all the years he's been playing. Alex
played for the Rockets and traveled with the Hershey Jr. Bears
team. Since 6th grade, Alex played for the Blue Raiders
and the last 4 years for the varsity team. He has grown
as a player and a person. As a youth he would always
stop and help the other players who fell down, then by 11th
grade he was in the penalty box for fighting! Even though
Alex tried offense, defense is his home. In his younger
years, Alex played soccer and tried basketball, but chose
hockey as his main sport. Playing the trombone has been
his second love and this year he was chosen as Band President.
Between band activities, hockey practices and working at Hershey
Park, his time is well spent. In what little spare time
Alex does have, he likes to play PS2 and watches TV.
His parents wish him a great senior year and will be in the
stands cheering him on as always. Alex plans to attend
Penn State Berks to major in Electrical Engineering Techonology. |

SEAN DARRAH (#18/Forward) --
Sean's parent tell them that he has brought them many joys
in their lives. His leadership in church has touch them
and many young lives. He is a great role model to his
younger brother an sister. He has a gift for motivating
people in a positive way. Many years have passed since
Sean first strapped on those plastic roller blades on in the
driveway. He would stay out there for days if his parents
would let him. It seemed to his parents like they replaced
the blade on his stick a thousand times. At age five,
Sean started to skate on the real ice with Coach Steve and
the puddle league. This is where the core of this
senior class met on the ice for the first time. Sean
began his Middletown career in sixth grade playing with the
freshman team, never backing down to their size. His
freshman year really tested his heart for the game, suffering
a broken shoulder in pre season practice. Sean returned
to the team in mid-season and broke his leg in his second
game back. All his hard work paid off though an din
his junior year he was named to the leagues Junior All-Star
Team and selected as the US Army High School Player of the
Week. Sean is a senior this year and it will be the
last year he plays hockey with the boys he grew up with. Sean
